Blog 10

What had an impact on me today was when we did the Hat activity. It helped put the project into perspective and helped my group by figuring out what we still needed to accomplish.

I am changing into a more creative person by being able to generate ideas and not be scared to share them. I also encourage other group members to share whatever they want, no matter how dumb they think it is.

I read an article from April 28, 2011 on Bloomberg Business Week about a new technology that figure out gene sequencing. This technology would allow researchers to be able to see the tiniest things like DNA through a microscope. This would help to figure out the worlds deadliest diseases. They would be able to take an entire strand of human DNA and map it out in seconds. The creators of this $600 million quest, believe it will change the scientific understanding of life itself. The machine is about half the size of a mini cooper and costs $700,000.

I wish we were farther along in our project, but we aren't. Although we have most of it done, we still need to make the presentation page better, as well as work on the five processes page. We are getting stumped on what we should put on those pages, but I think we just need to do a little more research.
