What has had an impact on me in class is listening to my other group members creative ideas and stemming off of their ideas. One has an idea, and we work off of that to make it even better.

My experiences are changing me into a more creative person by I'm not only creative in class, but outside of class as well. I try to be creative at work also. I actually had a coworker compliment me on my creativity. They told me, "Way to think outside of the BOEX." Which was funny.

I found an article on popsci.com about a bicycle that is riderless. It looks like a pole with two wheels and the person kind of stands over it, only giving the bike a little bit of guidance. The bike is lower in front and higher in the back, which keeps the bike upright. It said that this discovery will open up new possibilities for bicycle design. Although it looks kind of neat, I don't really see the point. The point of a bike is to sit on it and be able to peddle, but if the bike is riderless, that kind of defeats the point of a bike.

I'm very happy with my teams progress, things are finally coming together. Although I do wish we would have gotten a little farther today. I feel like the more we accomplish in one day, the less we have to do right before our presentation is due. But really it's more of what we have to do outside of class, like adding to our wiki.

Experiences in class that have had an impact on me were today when all the groups shared how far they were on their product. It helped to know that we weren't the only groups struggling to come up with a product. I felt like we were really far behind, but when I heard the groups talk I realized we were doing okay.

Today I shared my ideas about potential verge products to the group. I thought my ideas weren't all that good but they were really supportive. Now I know that I can share my ideas and not be torn down by people. They all really liked my ideas.

I read about in China how they are coming up with UV protection and water repellant for clothing. They would use zinc oxide and alter cotton fabrics. There would be a silica shell clothing that would protect clothing from UV rays. Maybe if people use this it could help not let the color of clothes fad. For someone that hikes or bikes a lot, it could be very beneficial. It would protect them from powerful rayes, as well as keep the color in their clothing.

Today we made a lot more progress then the past few weeks. We narrowed down our ideas and picked one that I think could do really well. We added a lot of things to our wiki page which is good. We are really coming along. I'm happy with all the progress my group has made.

I missed class last week due to being sick. So I haven't been impacted by much.

My experiences are making me into a more creative person by I'm becoming more comfortable sharing my ideas. Before I thought they were dumb, but I'm learning to not care as much.

I read on InfoWorld.com that a company has come up with an app that when you take a picture with your camera of real life objects, they magically come to life. It's kind of like how in the Harry Potter movies, pictures move in the picture frames and in the newspaper. The app though will only recognize about a half a million objects.

Since I wasn't there last week, I'm not really sure about our progress. I don't think they came up with an idea for a product yet though. I would have liked to see on our wiki or the discussion board ideas for the verge product. I made a list of ideas, so hopefully next class they will have ideas too. It's getting later in the year, so we really need to get our act together and come up with a product.

Things that have had an impact on me this past week were the presentations. We were able to see how other groups were doing and how they were being creative.

Even when I'm not in Workplace Innovation I still try and be innovative. When I'm in other classes I am constantly thinking of ways to be creative. I listen to the people around me in hopes that it will generate ideas, like what product we should verge.

I read on CNN that a guy is trying to find ways to get youth to be more excited about going to the library. He is working on a mobile game, which would run through Smart Phones, that would create a scavenger hunt in the library. It would be called, "Find the Future." Find the Future would combine a real life scavenger hunt with digital challenges. This would hopefully teach the younger generation about history.

Last class we were missing two people so we didn't get much accomplished. We spent most of the class trying to come up with ideas for a verge product. Although we didn't come up with anything, the next day I thought of ideas and wrote them down. So in our next class I will have the group look over the ideas and see if they are interested in any of them.

For experiences in class that have had an impact on me, I can't really think of much. Today we just brainstormed and tried to find information on John Deere.

I try to come up with ideas to help generate others ideas. Even though what I'm thinking may sound dumb, I say it anyways hoping it will help to generate others creativity.

Google is in the process of coming up with "smart labels" for email. The smart labels would automatically sort emails into categories, hoping to better organize people's email inbox. A new feature will be added that would mark which emails are most urgent. Implementing this into gmail will hopefully make reading emails much less stressful.

We've kind of reached a lull. We are having a hard time coming up with ideas for the verge product, everything we think of is already invented.

- We had Spring Break last week so nothing has had an impact on me.

- Every week I feel like I become more and more creative. I work harder to bring out my creative side.

- The iPad 2 was released two weeks ago. The iPad 2 is lighter, faster, includes a gyroscope, which enhances gaming options and a two way camera for video chatting. Apple was way ahead of it's competition with the iPad 1, now other companies are beginning to catch up. Apple is hoping that these new innovations will help to keep them number one.

- Our team has been having a lot of challenges. We aren't able to come up with ideas for a potential verge product and are struggling with the presentation product. We aren't able to find all the information we need on the John Deere website.

In yesterdays class we just learned about different social media sites. So I guess what has had an impact on me is in the future I can either use those or referenence them.

I havent had any experiences lately that have made me more creative. I've tried to let myself be more open to ideas, so when people need suggestions, I try to offer them. Whereas before my mind would go blank.

I recently read that the FAA is going to use iPads. The iPads would be used as maps and other sources of information. They want to try and see how this works. It's a good idea since thats they way the rest of the world is going, and it would eliminate some paper.

We didn't make a ton of progress yesterday, but that's okay. We just really need to focus on coming up with ideas for our project.
